Full-day tour to the legendary Bursa city which was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire between 1335 and 1413. Bursa was called as Hüdavendigar ("God's gift") during the Ottoman period. A more recent nickname is Yeşil Bursa ("Green Bursa") because of its beautiful parks and gardens. The tour price includes transfers, cable car in Bursa, professional guide and barbecue lunch in a restaurant.


TOUR PROGRAM

- 7:30 - departure from Istanbul.

- On the road to Bursa we'll visit  Yalova - a town on the Sea of Marmara coast. The first settlement appeared here at prehistoric times. Enjoing the lovely country-side view.


- Bursa city. Cable car to the Mount Uludag, or Olympus mountain. Panorama of Bursa city, its mountains, parks and gardens.

- Barbecue lunch at a restaurant on the Mount Uludag (included in tour price). Here you will have the opportunity to cook a barbecue lunch by yourself. İn menu: meat and side dishes, salads, grilled vegetables and drinks: water, ayran, Coke, Fanta , Sprite, tea, coffee.

- Visiting the Mosque Ulu Jami, the largest mosque in Bursa. It is a monument of early ottoman architecture, was built in the late 14th century by Sultan Bayezid I. Inside the mosque there are 192 monumental wall inscriptions written by the famous calligraphers of that period.

 - Visiting the Green Mosque, also known as Mosque of Mehmed I. İt's a part of the larger complex which consists of a mosque, türbe, madrasah, kitchen and bath. Green Mosque - the most decorated mosque in Bursa. So it can be shown as the perfect blend between architecture and embellishment.

- Visiting the old silk bazaar and the covered  bazaar of souvenirs, spices, sweets etc. Bursa Shopping Mall. Shopping opportunity. Free time - 2 hours.


- 22:00 - returning to Istanbul, service transfer to hotel.
