TOUR PROGRAM
- 8:30 - transfer from hotel to the Sultan Ahmet Square.
-8:45 - Walking at the Sultan Ahmet Square. The Hippodrome. The Obelisk.
- The Blue Mosque, one of the most famous landmarks of İstanbul.
- Underground Reservoir Yerebatan (Temple with columns). Overview of the Temple, the passage to the column with the head of Medusa the Gorgon.
- Grand Covered Bazaar. Shopping opportunity. At Grand Bazaar you can find jewelery, turkish spices, sweets , coffee, souvenirs etc.
- Lunch in restaurant (included in tour price). For your choice in menu: meat in sauce, grilled chicken, soups, salads, grilled vegetables; drinks: water, ayran, Coke, Fanta, Sprite, tea, coffee. After lunch we'll have transfer to Topkapi Palace.
- Topkapi Palace - the primary residence of the Ottoman Sultans for approximately 400 years. It's the legendary residence of Sultan Suleiman, his family and his court. We will see the rooms of the palace, enjoy the Harem and also we'll visit The museum of Imperial Treasury. It's a vast collection of works of art, jewelry, heirlooms of sentimental value and money belonging to the Ottoman dynasty.
- Hagia Sophia, this holy place for christians and muslims is one of the most extraordinary buildings in the history of architecture. İt contained a large collection of holy relics and featured, among other things, a 15-metre (49 ft) silver iconostasis. Here we'll also see a lots of sightseeing secrets from Byzantine and Constantinople times, mosaics and frescoes of saints, legends of the temple.
- 18:30 - returning to the hotel.
